The AAV-shRNA Selection Kit is designed for efficient selection of shRNAs. Each AAV-shRNA Selection kit includes 4 pre-designed shRNA constructs targeting your gene of interest (GOI), 1 scramble shRNA as control, and a GOI-mCherry fusion reporter plasmid. All plasmids are carried two AAV ITRs, after selection,  the constructs can directly used to package AAV vectors.

Kit Components

Workflow:

  1. Co-transfection: Deliver shRNA plasmids + GOI-mCherry plasmid into cells (e.g., HEK293T).
  2. Screening: Analyze mCherry/EGFP ratios (flow cytometry or qPCR) to identify optimal shRNAs.
  3. AAV Packaging: Selected shRNAs can be packaged into AAV vectors (individual or pooled purification).
