pAAVtri-sc-CMV-EGFP  is used to produce scAAV-CMV-EGFP virus using AAVnerGene’s novel AAVtri System or traditional tri-plasmid systems. In this plasmid,  the  regular self-complementary  AAV genome  with a CMV promoter and an EGFP reporter is cloned into pAAVtri-sc backbone.  scAAV-CMV-EGFP viruses can be generated by co-transfection of this plasmid with regular AAV helper  (pRCap) plasmids, carrying AAV2 rep gene and different cap genes and mini-pHelper or other Ad helper plasmid to supply E2A, E4orf6 and VA RNA functions.
The CMV promoter, also known as the cytomegalovirus promoter, is a widely used promoter sequence in molecular biology and biotechnology. It is derived from the immediate early promoter of the cytomegalovirus and is commonly used to drive the expression of genes in a variety of experimental and practical applications.
